Lab Services:

The Clinical Laboratory at Vivus-SMRC Heart has been designed with the needs of the cardiology patient in mind. Equipment was chosen for the ability to provide not only quality results, but to be able to provide those results in a very quick and efficient fashion. The staff of the Laboratory has been trained to function in Laboratory specialties that are unique to the patients who come to a cardiology facility.

The lab is equipped to do more than 2000 tests which can be performed round-the-clock with the help of sophisticated instruments such as Auto Analyzer and Sodium Potassium Analyzer.

Unlike most other pathology laboratories, any test result beyond normal range is always rechecked at no additional cost to the patient.
24 hours Pharmacy Services:

Pharmacy services at VIVUS-SMRC Heart Centre are focused on having the medications at the bedside nurses' fingertips. The Pharmacy is designed to be responsible for dispensing medications daily for an inpatient population of 100 patients with additional services provided in the outpatient setting. The department consists of pharmacists, as well as technical and support personnel, who work together to assure patients receive the highest quality pharmaceutical care possible.
Cardiac Rehabilitation - Diet Counseling:

The VIVUS-SMRC Heart Centre helps patients return to the activities of daily life through carefully monitored exercise and education about heart-healthy habits. The dietary department plays an important role in this area emphasizing on the need to reach beyond the treatment provided at the hospital into the day to day activities after discharge. The dietary support is given to all patients in the OPD cardiac clinic as well.
