| Dr.
Guruprasad Datta Naik, Chief
Cardiologist |

|
Dr. Guruprasad
Naik graduated from Goa Medical college
(1992) and received his DM-Medicine
from the same university (1996). He
went on to get his ABIM (Internal
Medicine) from St. Vincent Hospital,
USA and ABIM (Cardio Vascular diseases)
from Louisiana University Medical
Center, USA.

He has been a practicing
Cardiologist since 1997. He began
his career as a Fellow in Cardiology
at Louisiana State University Medical
Center, Junior Consultant at the Manipal
Heart Foundation. He was Assistant
Professor, Department of Cardiology,
St. John's Hospital in Bangalore.
In St. John's hospital he was in charge
of the Catheterisation Laboratory
and actively participated in the Cardiology
Fellowship Teaching Program. Dr. Naik
has worked as Associate Consultant
Cardiologist with the Manipal Heart
Foundation and then as Interventional
Cardiologist for four years in the
Marshfield Clinic in USA.

He has several
research publications to his credit
and is a Fellow of the American College
of Cardiology, Fellow of the Society
for Cardiovascular Angiography and
Interventions (FSCAI) and is a Member
of the American Medical Association
and Wisconsin Medical Society. He
was awarded the Herbert Weinberger
award for outstanding patient care
(1999) at the Touro Infirmary, New
Orleans USA.

Anand Sancheti, Chief Cardio
Thoracic Surgeon |

Dr. Anand Sancheti
completed his MCh (CVTS) from KEM
Hospital, Mumbai in 2002. He did his
MBBS from JNMC Wardha and his MS (General
Surgery) from GMC, Nagpur.

|
He worked as senior
registrar in Cardiovascular and Thoracic
surgery for six years in addition
to the three year experience in General
Surgery & Allied Specialties.
He received the Adult Cardiac surgery
fellowship at RNSH, Sydney, and worked
in Australia for 2 years. He has been
working as a Consultant in Cardiovascular
and Thoracic surgery for more than
one year.

Dr. Sancheti holds
the credit of being the first cardiac
surgeon to do an 'AWAKE' double valve
open-heart surgery and the first do
an AWAKE congenital heart disease
ASD closure in Western India including
Maharastra, Gujarat and Goa.

Pankajam Vaidya, Cardiologist |

Dr. Pankajam received
her MBBS from Karnataka University
and then went on to get her DNB in
General Medicine and Cardiology. She
worked as Senior Cardiac Registrar
in Vivus Heart Centre, BMJ, Bangalore.
Her previous experience includes working
at Dr. Balabhai Nanavati Hospital
and BARC hospital in Mumbai. She is
a member of National Academy of Medical
Sciences, New Delhi.

Paresh K. Desai, Radiologist |

|
Dr. Paresh Desai
has done his MD in Radiodiagnosis
from Goa University and worked as
a Resident in Goa Medical College.
In the busy OPD and In-patients at
the Goa Medical College, Dr. Desai
has handled 50 patients per day on
an average, for different radiology
investigations covering Conventional
Radiology, CT scanning, Ultrasonography
and Doppler, mammography, MRI.

Anand Thakur, Chief of Laboratories |

|
Dr. Thakur started
his career as resident Intern at Ispat
General Hospital soon after completing
his MD in Pathology from University
of Dharwad. He then was the Resident
House Officer in TELCO and RMO at
BALCO and Western India Shipyard Limited.
He then took up the Directorship of
SIDAD's Laboratory in Goa. Under his
directorship SIDAD's laboratory became
the FIRST in the Konkan region to
be accredited by National Accreditation
Board for Laboratories (NABL).
